Practical Advice

This book is a quick read but it's packed full with a lot of practical advice for getting healthy. I love all the practical applications and tips on how to actually apply the "habits" into daily life. The only downfall of the book (which really isn't a major problem) is that every thing is in metric.... for example km vs. miles and kg vs. pounds.... but like I said, not a big deal for the rest of the world, just Americans. :)

I liked the straight forward way the book was written. Who should read it and what will I learn was all spelled out. After each chapter you get an action plan which is very helpful so I know exactly what to do.

What also impressed me was that each habit in itself will help me to loose weight. I can't wait to try all 13 of them!

I enjoyed the book and did not expect to get a free book about superfoods, can't wait to read that one too.

Break the vicious cycle and get on track

I was very happy to learn that I could use the tools in this book to stop diets that don't work. I would always lose weight and put it right back on because eventually I couldn't control my cravings. By focusing on my behaviour with the 13 steps I felt like this book finally gave me a guideline that would keep me on track by building the program step by step. Because this book is so easy to follow and provides a consistent plan of action I am on my way to maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
